Graduation 2018

Wow...did that year go by quick? It always does and if you are like me it isn't just that year that flies in your loved ones life but all of them. Kindergarten to Senior year go by in a blink of an eye. Your little one goes from a child, to a teen and somehow ends up as a young adult ready to take on the world. This all happens in what feels like 5 minutes when realizing graduation is only a month away.

Once you wipe the tears away from your eyes you also start thinking about event planning - the party you are throwing and the ones you'll be attending (or at least sending a gift). These party invitations add up quickly and you can be at a loss for gift ideas other than a gift card.

This is where Sisters by Design can help.

Our store can help you design unique graduation party items such as gold foil water bottle labels, invitations or thank you notes. What girl wouldn't want a little bling to help them stand out from the others?

Does your graduate have a favorite quote? Or do you want to give them something to inspire them as they start the next part of their journey? We have wood wall hangings that might just fit the bill. Bring us your ideas and we will make your gift that is quality made that will last a lifetime.

Need to purchase for several graduates this season? We have customizable jewelry at a value price.

Remember to breathe, bring lots of tissues and to enjoy every minute of this season. It only happens once and those memories are precious.
Laugh, Love and Live this time to it's fullest.

Thank you,

32 days to Mother's Day 2018

"To the world you are a mother but to your family you are the world"

Don't let the days get away from you because there is only 32 days to go until Mother's Day 2018! Are you anxious, not sure what to get for mom? Sisters by Design can help as we have great ideas to share with you or if you are feeling creative we can work with you to create something unique for your special mom.

A few great ideas....

We can customize this piece with children, grandchildren or for blended families. This has been a huge hit for families since we posted it in early 2017. It is a great piece to show the unity in a family and to celebrate the blessings that have been provided to you.

Our Peas in a Pod necklace can be customized the family initials and the number of peas in your family pod.

Does your mom have a favorite quote or verse? This is a beautiful piece to showcase it and can fit easily into most decors or office spaces.

If mom is a music lover we can personalize this barn wood mirror to include the lyrics in a heart shape. It is a very unique piece that will make mom smile each time she passes by it.

Celebrate Mom this year with unique and personalized items. Mom's don't care about the cost but she does care that it comes from the heart. All we want is to know our kids love us, respect us and care about celebrating our day together.

Thank you,

Countdown to Mother's Day 2018....

"All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my Mother"
~ Abraham Lincoln

Being a Mom is the greatest job ever but also one of the toughest. For the first nine months you are so excited to meet this little creature that you helped create and are now bringing into the world. Then the baby arrives, begins to grow, develop and before you know they begin to talk. This is when the tough part begins...

"Welcome to the World"

Every child has their own personality and if your kids are anything like mine, they dismounted from my womb with a forceful sense of independence and self-worth. Every mother wants to raise a  child to become both strong and independent but it almost kills them to raise one that arrives
 preassembled in this fashion.

"Flexibility"

Through the years these mini versions of yourself love you, torment you and make you laugh harder than any other person in the world. The tears are both sadness, anger and joy. When they are younger all you want them to be is safe. If you could put them in bubble wrap it would be their new fall attire. Instead you put your number in their backpacks, on bracelets and as they get older inside their phone.

As they become teenagers you all of sudden are making your cut/color appointments at the beauty salon closer together than ever before but as my father-n-law says "It's only money". They say to find an individuals priorities look at their checkbook. Mine would definitely be for items for my kids.

The list is endless ~ band, cheer-leading, volleyball fees, musical lessons, the latest fashions, shoes ...don't even get me started on the shoes! In all the world there isn't anyone you want to make happy or squeal with joy than your kids when you finally buy the thing they have wanted for their entire life! Even if sometimes other characters get the credit - a.k.a Santa Claus & Easter Bunny.

Then the day comes where they graduate from high school and venture off to college. You would do everything possible to hold on just for five more minutes to the fingerprints on the wall, messy rooms, endless car rides to and from activities and maybe even to write the checks to support them.

Yet, they have come full circle to finally become the strong and independent young adults you prayed for them to be from the beginning. A friend more than a child and you start to look forward to all the new memories you can make with them including them moving out of your house, getting married and grandchildren!
