Automotive Party Theme
Do you have a loved one who loves cars? These automotive junkies are old souls at heart. This passion for old cars, trucks or farm equipment is unique and presents an issue when planning a party. Sisters by Design has you covered as we have used these for our loved ones for a Sweet 16 party. My son loves the vintage garage signs, old trucks, rusty license plates and tools.
Going with this theme we created a banner to set the mood for the party! The old farm truck in the background with the field behind it is not something you find in the neighborhood party supply store.
Creating personalized license plates as invitations is a great way to tell your friends and family about the party!
Another way we carried the theme with the decorations is creating an old gas station sign with our son's name. The aging makes it look authentic!
Surrounding the sign with old decals of oil and gas station names makes the piece a center attraction for the party and something they can keep in their room as decor after the party is over.
Decorating with these older gas and oil names on the drink dispensers as well as finding older glass bottle wooden crates make for a great drink station!
These older brands can be carried through to your cupcake sticks as well. As you can see from above it helps connect the food to the theme! Maps as a background on your cards is a special touch.
What kid doesn't like sugar cookies? These items are so easy to customize and add to your theme!
You can mix it up with your loved ones name, age and brand names.
If you have pieces in your garage you can add to the decor by bringing them in house! Line the drawers with aluminum foil and add chips! Easy but adds so much!
